PUPPY BUYER CONTRACT This agreement is made between Angell’s Aussies and the buyer______________.
The buyer agrees to obtain from Angell’s Aussies an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy. For the amount of, $600, meaning a $100 deposit to reserve the puppy and $500 remaining balance when buyer comes to take puppy home.

This puppy will be sold as a household pet and companion only and will not be sold with any papers or registration.
ANGELL’S AUSSIES RESPONSIBILITY Angell’s Aussies will have taken puppy to the vet several times before the puppy was 8 weeks old to have a health exam, first puppy shot (DHPP), tail docked, and dew claws removed by: North Cascade Veterinary Hospital 200 Murdock Street Sedro-Woolley WA 98284 360-856-1809
Puppy will be sold to buyer healthy at time of sale. Angell’s Aussies will provide copies of the puppy’s vet records at time of sale and will fully disclose the health, habits and temperament of the puppy. Angell’s Aussies encourages buyer to have puppy spayed/neutered by a veterinarian.
BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a vet 1 week from date of purchase. If the veterinarian does not give the puppy a clean bill of health, buyer must notify Angell’s Aussies immediately. Angell’s Aussies reserves the right to have the puppy re-examined by North Cascade Veterinary Hospital at no cost to the buyer.
Any condition that is correctable, minor, could go away, or is considered a condition which a puppy will likely grow out of ect, Angell’s Aussies will NOT refund money or take the dog back.
But if the veterinarian has found the puppy to have some genetic, non-correctable problem due to the breeding then, with proof from the vet, the seller will take the puppy back and a full refund of $600 will be given back to the buyer.
The buyer agrees to continue to take the dog to the vet throughout its life for Spay/Neuter, annual health exams, routine vaccinations, and medical care upon sickness or injury.
The buyer agrees to keep a collar and identification tag/microchip on the dog at all times. The buyer agrees to keep the dog on a harness or leash when off the premise of the dog’s home and when in public and to keep the dog and others safe.
The buyer agrees to give the dog adequate food, water, shelter, and lots of love and affection. Australian Shepherd/Border Collies need to spend lots of time with their owner.
The buyer agrees that this dog will NOT be tied up or chained. Australian Shepherd/Border Collies are not the kind of dog to leave alone for long periods of time.
The buyer agrees that if the puppy/dog is to be left alone the buyer needs to have a fenced outdoor area (fully fenced yard or outdoor kennel) at their home that is safe for the puppy/dog when the buyer is gone. Or the buyer agrees to have a “dog sitter” watch the puppy/dog. Other options while the Buyer is away- The buyer agrees that if the puppy (while still in potty training) is to be left alone in the house for short periods of time the buyer needs to put the puppy in a crate in their home to keep the puppy and their belongings safe. Or Buyer agrees that if the puppy is to be left alone in the house for short periods of time the buyer needs to have a fully puppy proofed room in their home/garage that the puppy can stay in while buyer is gone for short periods of time.
If the dog is found to be running loose, found to be neglected, abused, or allowed to live in poor health or poor conditions Angell’s Aussies has all the rights to repossess the dog with no refund to the buyer. The death, injury or loss of the dog due to theft, carelessness, abuse, neglect, or accident will not entitle the buyer to any compensation from Angell’s Aussies. Buyer will take full responsibility for these things.
Buyer agrees that this dog will NOT be used for any illegal or immoral activities and is not to be used for any type of puppy mill, dog farm or other mass producing or money making operation. Buyer agrees not to sell this dog to any retail company or establishment.
In the event the buyer is unable to keep this dog for any reasons; the buyer agrees to offer Angell’s Aussies the first chance to take the dog back and let Angell’s Aussies know before a re-sale.
Angell’s Aussies reserves the right to discontinue the sale at any time for any reason or if Angell’s Aussies thinks the puppy will not have a good home with the potential buyer the sale will be discontinued.
This is the entire 3 page contract between Angell’s Aussies and buyer, and is valid and agreed upon. Angell’s Aussies and the buyer have read, understand and agreed to this contract in full by signing below.
